THE SNACK FACTORY EXTENDS DISTRIBUTION TO CANADA
Princeton, NJ (May 7, 2009) – The Snack Factory LLC, creators of patented Pretzel Crisps® snacks, (www.pretzelcrisps.com), announced today that they have extended their North American distribution to include over a dozen Canadian supermarket chains across the country.
The slim, crunchy pretzel crackers can be found from coast to coast, with the largest distribution in major supermarket chain retailer Loblaw’s, where Pretzel Crisps can be found in the deli section of hundreds of Loblaw Companies owned stores.
The Snack Factory is collaborating exclusively with SunOpta Distribution Group, (STLK, TSX) Canada’s largest distributor of organic, natural, kosher, specialty foods and natural health care products. SunOpta’s customers include major food chains, independent food stores, natural food stores, super stores, warehouse clubs, drug stores, home delivery companies, food service organizations, wholesalers and health professionals.
“Pretzel Crisps are the perfect gourmet snack for consumers looking for a healthy, delicious alternative to fattening chips and crackers,” said Warren Wilson, President of the Snack Factory. “We’ve received feedback from Canadian consumers asking where they can get our product, so we’re excited about partnering with SunOpta to make Pretzel Crisps available across Canada.”
