NEW YORK, NY (November 14, 2006) – Snack Factory, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of a fabulous new flavor of Pretzel Crisps®, Honey Mustard & Onion! The new flavor joins the family of award-winning kosher favorites Original, Garlic and Everything Crisps.
“Pretzel Crisps® are a healthy alternative to fattening crackers and potato chips and an ideal complement to hummus, cheeses, spreads and dips. People today are searching for healthier snack foods that taste good; mirroring the foods they love but should not have. We receive letters from rabbi’s and Jewish consumers weekly, telling us that Pretzel Crisps® are the perfect nosh served after Shabbat services. Like all Pretzel Crisps®, the Honey Mustard & Onion are oven baked, ultra-thin and OU Pareve. Both sides are coated with a mouth-watering honey mustard and onion flavoring, giving immediate satisfaction to your taste buds. Like the original flavors, the Honey Mustard & Onion Crisps are low fat and only 110 calories per serving, promoting a healthier lifestyle.
The new flavor is available in the signature resealable 6-ounce stand-up package and is line priced with the original flavors at $2.99 SRP. With each 12 count Pretzel Crisps® case, a complimentary 8-ounce sample bag will be included to aid retailers in generating consumer interest in the product. The Original and Honey Mustard & Onion are now available in two new convenient sized packages perfect for convenience stores, airlines and airports, schools, drug and specialty stores and more. The sizes are a handy snack size of 2.5 ounces in an 8-count caddy with a SRP of $.99 and a 5-ounce pillow bag in a 6-count caddy or a 36-count power wing, with an SRP of $1.99. All bags have a peg hole for easy merchandising anywhere in the store.
